My baby's in God's hands!

DOCTORS TOLD Ntombi her unborn son was very ill and recommended terminating the pregnancy.
But to Ntombi, a committed Christian, that was not an option.
GOD WILL DECIDE WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO MY CHILD, NTOMBI TOLD DAILY SUN.
Two months ago, TV presenter, singer and actress Ntombi Mzolo (30) received the worst news a mother can get.
Doctors diagnosed her unborn son with a rare heart condition called hypoplastic left heart syndrome.
The condition means parts of the left side of the heart do not develop properly and the blood supply to the baby’s body is serverely constricted.
She said pregnant women confronted with this condition are usually advised to abort. She said when she was told the news, no counselling was offered.
“The doctors tell you to abort as if you are carrying a bag of potatoes, but I decided to carry my baby full term,” she said.
“I couldn’t sleep after hearing the news. My husband was out of town and I went to stay with my parents.”
Ntombi, a member of the Amaponi maskandi group, said they had scheduled a caesarean section birth for Monday.
“Doctors said I will have only 30 minutes after the birth to bond with my baby before he will be rushed to surgery.”
“The doctors said they will try to find ways to get blood into the rest of his body.”
She has been getting a lot of support from her mother, Linah Khama, known as Ebony and her father, Ihashi Elimhlophe.
“My mother is a pastor and we have been praying a lot. Doctors have told me what they know, but I’m putting all my trust in God. I believe there will be a miracle on Monday.”
Ntombi said she hoped her story would help other mothers who have to make similar decisions. A presenter on e.tv’s music show, Shikisha, she said she did not let the diagnosis interfere with her work.
“I have been going to work and enjoying life with my family. I have a lot of people who are counting on me and I don’t want to let them down.
