APC disagrees with Faleke, others on Audu replacementThe national leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Friday stated that until it finishes its consultations, the party would not be able to take decision on the political imbroglio in Kogi State.
The APC Acting National Publicity Secretary, Mr. Timi Frank, stated this in reaction to different claims by party members in Kogi State on the Prince Abubakar Audu’s successor as a result of his death on Sunday 22 amidst the result of the governorship election that held on Saturday 21.
Audu’s running mate, Hon. James Abiodun Faleke,James Abiodun Faleke has faulted the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for declaring the election inconclusive and he is challenging the decision of the Commission in court.
According to his position, he should be declared the winner of the election given the fact that he was on the same ticket with the late Audu as the deputy governorship candidate.
